In addition to clubs, the school has a mentor program where you can connect with an industry professional and get your hands on opportunities and knowledge you might not have found elsewhere. This school is great if you’re into STEM and even better if you’re into aviation because the school offers many clubs that will let you explore your interests. The school is very inclusive and the staff are always helpful. It was fun getting to know people coming from different backgrounds who share similar passions as me. While RHS's resources and campus are amazing, it can get pretty tough homework wise (especially junior year) so choose your courses well. The facility members are understanding and nice, and in a school with around 2000 students, you will inevitably make many friends. Additionally, there's clubs for everything small and big from competitions like Science Bowl or Robotics to games like Dungeons and Dragons, so there's many groups that you can join and be a part of. Thus, a student can definitely find some elective class tailored to their interests. There are a ridiculously large number of elective classes to choose from for art, sport, STEM or music related activity such as ceramics, photography, aerodynamics and more. Many of the teachers are extremely charismatic and talented at teaching specific subjects such as AP U.S. Senior: Redmond High School offers a great education and array of clubs and sports so a student can grow and thrive in this environment. Our teacher is supportive and she makes the learning environment enjoyable. We complete work orders every week, and it is a great way to contribute to our community and learn about our earth and gardening, especially the business side of the horticulture industry. We host plant sales 3 times a year and students get the opportunity to have work experience by picking up shifts at the plant sales. One of my favorite parts of Interlake High School is the Horticulture program. They get easily distracted with other students and it is hard to stay focused in that learning environment.
There are a couple teachers I really like, their personalities are friendly, but some have good personalities but not the best qualities in a teacher. Students are very exhausted because of IB and AP classes, especially the AP and IB tests in May. There is a lot of competition for being the best. Senior: The IB program adds lots of competition to this school. This year we are especially thankful that Epiphany has made every conceivable effort to implement thoughtful, informed, comprehensive, and effective health and safety protocols so that all students could return to in-person learning on campus. Even under the very difficult circumstances of the current school year, our student is not just progressing but thriving in his fantastic Pre-K classroom.
More importantly, everyone at Epiphany took the time to get to know us and our son in order to place him with the best possible Pre-K teaching team and classmates. Our son began his journey at Epiphany this fall – what a year to be entering Pre-K! Well before his first day of school, we felt embraced, welcomed, and supported by the administration, faculty, staff, and other families at Epiphany, and we knew right away that we had made the right decision for not only our entering student but our whole family.
